Ideally placed for visiting attractions such as the Abbey and harbour at Whitby, the village of Staithes, pretty Runswick Bay and the rest of the coast, the village is also a good base for exploring the dramatic scenery of the North York Moors National Park, making it a great location for all the family. The Property: Heritage Grove Cottage A spacious, well-appointed wing of a former Victorian Powerhouse, just 800 yards from the sandy beach in the former fishing village of Skinningrove. Restored to a very high standard, the property boasts light and airy rooms, wonderful arched windows, a four poster bed, Victorian cast iron fireplace and a beautiful kitchen/diner with a Yorkshire range. A downstairs walk in shower room, double sofa bed settee and ramp access may make this delightful property suitable for accompanied disabled - please phone for further information. The historic town of Whitby, and coastal villages of Staithes and Runswick Bay are all easily reached, as is the lovely scenery of the nearby North York Moors National Park. The property adjoins Ref 1352 and together they can accommodate 17 people.

Additional ground floor shower room with walk in shower, basin & WC. Well-equipped kitchen with dining area. Utility room. Spacious sitting room with sofa bed. Note: There is a spiral staircase leading from the kitchen to the bedrooms. Amenities Full gas fired central heating throughout.
